I like the covers of your novels and will contact you soon. I just thought I’d let you know that you’re selling them too cheap. Weirdly enough, readers don’t value 99ct books any more. The ones that can afford to buy books will pay more (as long as it’s below 9.99USD), and the ones who can’t will go for the free books. 😉 Good luck with your sales. Cat
Thanks for your kind words about the covers. You make a valid point about pricing, and we published a blog about it a few weeks ago which you might find interesting if you haven’t already read it. The pricing has been based on various conclusions which are discussed in the blog, but it’s not the main pillar of the allonymbooks marketing strategy.
I have to say that I disagree. I don’t look at the price of the book. I look at the cover, the title and the content when deciding whether I like a book, no matter the price. In fact, 99c seems good to me, especially since in the UK it’s about 70 pence. 🙂 It’s also a nice little add on if you’re buying other things and want to round off your purchase with a pound/cent purchase.
